Pricing and Fees

There are categories of fees involved in the usage of our competition software:

Initial Deposit
We require an opening deposit of $30.00 to register your competition to use our software for the year. This deposit will be used to cover the per-skater fee on any skaters that are manually entered by an administrator -- this is necessary for entries that are not paid directly by the skater via credit-card.

The remaining balance of your deposit will be returned to the credit card used to pay the deposit when we finalize your account activity -- within 1-2 days after your competition ends.
Per-skater Fee
EntryEeze charges a $1.85 per skater for U.S. Figure Skating competitions or $2.50 per skater for Ice Sports Industry competitions ($.65 of the $2.50 is sent to ISI to fund continued integration development per our current joint development agreement). This per-skater fee is charged to you (the LOC or rink) and applies only when an initial entry is processed for a skater. We believe this pricing mechanism is the most fair for our clients, as it allows your total cost to be determined by the number of skaters in your competition. This per-skater fee is deducted during the Stripe payment process.

Skaters may sign up for additional events at a later time (prior to your entry deadline) at no further cost to you. There is also no per-skater fee charge when skaters purchase practice-ice sessions online with a credit-card.

And, you can make changes to a skater's entry at any time with no charge at all.
(Optional) Configuration Fee (First time competition customers)
In order to properly present your event offerings to skaters, the system must be configured to your specifications (events offered, levels supported, event fees, refund policy, liability waiver, etc). Our setup screens are easy to use; however, for a small $50.00 fee EntryEeze will complete your entire competition setup for you.
(Optional) Configuration Fee (Returning competition customers)
For those returning competitions, we offer a $25.00 reset fee to update your configuration to match this year's announcement - saving you some time in the setup!
Merchant Fees
Your entry monies will be automatically deposited to your bank account, from Stripe.com. As your merchant processor, Stripe will deduct a per-transaction fee from the charged amount. EntryEeze has negotiated reduced merchant fees with Stripe. Stripe has reduced its fees for EntryEeze customers to 2.2% plus 30 cents per transaction for all Visa, MasterCard, and Discover payments. Fees for American Express payments are a flat 3.5% per transaction. If you wish, you may disable American Express payments for your competition.
(Optional) Scheduling Input Service
If you want us to enter your competition schedule, we can do that for a nominal additional fee. The fee amount is based on the size of your competition. This service can be purchased after your entry deadline on the Schedule Management page.
